On April 17, 2007 Roy “Bud” Thomas Melton was brutally murdered. Today is 2 years to the day that “Bud” was murdered. There has not been any arrests made in Buds murder even though there are several people of interest. I am asking you as his sister if you know anything about this case, even the smallest thing that might not seem that important to you, to please call the Catawba County Sheriff’s Office at 828-465-7995. Any amount of information could crack this case.

I just recently found out about your brother may he rest in peace. How did I find out? I hate Vick with a passion because he is getting away with murder,yes largley cause of the dogfighting but also because he is making millions and is famous while people like your brother go unnoticed and are broke and dead. Like you said he got a job as a painter after he got out of prison. I am all for second chances but not for fame and fortune unless you give it to everyone.
The way I found out is I was bored and had seen on an anti vic site that vick was for a short time under investigation for the murder of Bud Melton,8 days after the raid on vicks home. It was one sentence. Since I was bored and couldnt go to sleep I looked up your brothers name on the internet and what some investigators are saying is that your brothers home was under investigation first where they found evidence of Vicks fighting ring in carefully and proffessionally kept buisness books.Thats when they decided to raid Vicks property. 8 days after the raid your bro was found brutally murdered execution style. It was someone he knew since there was no sign of forced entry and all of a sudden all of the books with Vicks name and fighting scedules etc were no longer there. I think Vick may have been gone for up to five years had your brothers notes not dissapeared. I also heard after Vick came out for dogfighting charges which he never plead guilty to, he was supposed to go on trial for Buds murder but that never happened,someone must have paid someone to forget it. I was told that cops in those areas would not cooperate with authorities about Vick.
I am guessing someohow now he is no longer a suspect. Hello,who else had to gain from your bros death. Ok maybe other dogfighters but from what I read others were not named on the papers,only Vick. Who besides Vick would have something to gain from the bad evidence against him disappearing? Well I read that Vick owes a lot of creditors millions of dollars and thats why they ALL want him to play for the billionaire spots so he can afford to pay him back. I am sure your bro probably had some unpaid bills too when he went to prison but the creditors did not seem to cheer for him to get a job with a huge salary.

I see a lot of shirts made for the dogs to give justice to them and I am totally for that and have had my daughter put several pics and comments together to put on one shirt. I chose gypsy cause she seemed the least healed. You can find her on “football fans against Vick” or similar. She is t he first picture. My daughter pet sits and one of her clients tapes everything they find important to show to the public. We dont have the capabilities but they do,so she can ask them to tape any show that will allow your brother airtime.
You can even contact best friends and bad rap who had specials on vick and the dogs and are trying to connect him with something worse as well as aspca who refused to work with Vick because they know what monster he is. You can go ahead and tell them your bro did the same thing but not as bad and how he started if you like. I get what you mean about not wishing this on your worst enemy. There is a site that pays players and or animal shelter money everytime an opponent puts a hit on vick on the field,they pay the opponent or a shelter,the player and donors choice and I am ok with that but there are ppl on there who offered huge donations if someone kills him and even though I hate him, I am not ok with that. I was wrong, it wasnt that site and dont remember and you are right about the money thing. The law is stupid. When my kid was pet sitting once they have a neighboer from hell who lies about everything and my kid defended the people that lady was lying about in court. She was raised to be honest. Ever since that lady has it out for her and when she started fallowing my kids every move while she was just walking dogs and harrasing her, I told her to call the cops cause to me thats stalking and harrasing.She did call the cops who said “its not considered stalking if its done on public rodes”. If she turned left,the lady turned left, if she made a uturn that lady would make a uturn etc, to me thats stalking. She didnt get murdered or anything but I am still mad at the cops for not “serving and protecting”. Others told me they would have fought that lady and done nasty stuff to her but I raised my kid to not break the law and to go through the right steps. ok this is not about me,sorry, this is just the second time i heard of cops not serving and protecting. I agree the law should answer to it too. We even seen cops at time go through red ligths when their lights are not on. I thought unless they are on a chase or similar they have the same rights and responsibilities the rest of us have. I never heard of cops NOT being allowed to work overtime. I actually dumbed someone I dated who was studing to be a cop because I knew he would have to work over time and never be home and eventually I would hear “unidentified policeman killed in the line of duty”. I wouldnt be able to handle that. We watch some cop shows and we always see cops working overtime with their coffees etc. I think thats a bogus excuse
We all love our family members despite the things they may do. No disrespect, but he was a criminal. He was involved with people and things that more than likely contributed to his death.
